SANOG27 is scheduled to begin from tomorrow in Kathmandu. Hosted by NPIX, SANOG27 has been supported by the Government of Nepal, Nepal Telecommunications Authority, ISP Association of Nepal, CAN Federation of Nepal.
SANOG started to bring together operators for educational as well as cooperation among Network and Internet Service Providers has grown to an international event for operators, policy makers, service providers, trainers, educators, researchers and technical administrators. It provides a regional forum to discuss operational issues and technologies of interest to data operators in the South Asian Region.
During these 8 days of SANOG – 27, the organizers are organizing different activities viz:
- SANOG -27 Conference (1.5 days:- January 25-26, 2016);
- SANOG -27 Tutorial (1.5 days:- January 26-27, 2016); and
- SANOG – 27 Workshop (5 days:- January 28-February 01, 2016)
Further, the SANOG-27 Tutorial and SANOG-27 Workshop are divided into following three (3) parallel tracks during later five (5) days:
- IPv4/IPv6 Routing
- DNSSEC & Network Security
- Virtualization and Cloud Computing.
The entire event will be hosted at Hotel Yak and Yeti, Kathmandu, Nepal from January 25th 2016 to February 1st, 2016.
