Internet Exchange Nepal (npIX) completed a training workshop on Network Management from 12th July to 14th July 2019. We are pleased to announce the addition of a RIPE Atlas Anchor locally at NPIX Kathmandu called np-ktm-as45170. This is among the first Anchors to be hosted in South Asia, other two being hosted in Sri Lanka and India with APNIC’s support.
RIPE Atlas anchors provide valuable information about the local and regional connectivity and reachability of the Internet. Common tests include ping, traceroute, DNS, NTP etc over both IPv4 and IPv6.
